APM-203 f/7 Triplet APO

In the last 12 months APM Telescopes has developed a large new Apo lineup which they have tested over a years’ worth of extreme conditions. APM has announced these scopes are now available for serial production. The optics are already finished and the production of tubes for the commercial market will now start.

APM-203 f/7 Triplet APOThe new APM-203 f/7 Triplet APO is a professional grade telescope with powerful and shadow-free optics. It is universally applicable for visual observing and imaging of solar, planetary and deep sky targets. The light collecting surface is almost 80% larger than that of a 150mm optic. The optical performance should correspond to that of an 11″-12″ SCT offering the advantage of  0% obstruction and 0% loss of contrast.

The new aluminum clad telescope includes a 2.7″ focuser as well as relevant reduction adapters and an integrated viewfinder bracket that allows imaging and visual accessories to be conveniently adapted. Options include upgrading to a FeatherTouch 3.5″ focuser or a carbon tube for an additional charge. Multicompatible tube clamps are standard as well as a custom case.
