The new APM Super Zoom eyepiece provides a flat field of view with a sharp, clear and distortion-free image while maintaining high quality. The focal lengths are calculated in such a way that they ideally adapt to the object.
The eyepiece has a variable focal length from 7.7mm to 15.4mm with an apparent field of view of constant 75 degrees over the entire adjustment range. The eye relief is between 18mm and 20mm, depending on the setting. The eyepiece is equipped with a 1.25″ connector that fits all telescopes.
As Markus Ludes of APM notes, “The workmanship is exemplary. Only high quality and wear-free materials have been used. Of course, all optical surfaces are multicoated and the lens edges are blackened, so that no light reflections can occur inside the eyepiece.”
Specifications and features of the APM Super Zoom eyepiece include:
– Constant field of view with 75°
– Suitable for fast optics
– 1.25″ connection and integrated filter thread
– 2 upper external threads for connection of Tele Vue Dioptrix or adapter M43 x 0.75 and M37 x 0.75
