The Buckeyestargazer Shop has recently announced new custom mounting solutions for telescopes are for the amateur astronomy community. The company is a relatively new resource for “simple and practical” amateur astronomy accessories.

Joel Short, an astroimaging enthusiast located in Northern Indiana, opened the small to make available items he has developed to offer affordable and uncomplicated accessories. As Short commented, “These are simple and practical items that I have found to be essential for the home astrophotographer.”

Buckeyestargazer Shop For those who would like to mount a Pegasus Pocket Powerbox, Powerbox Advance, or Ultimate Powerbox to a Losmandy or Vixen rail, an Arca-Swiss saddle or Synta dovetail shoe, now you can with these Pegasus Powerbox mounting solutions. These lightweight, yet sturdy mounting solutions consists of two parts – a bracket for a Powerbox and one of several different attachments. I

If you have ever wanted to mount your Intel NUC miniPC to a tripod leg, Losmandy or Vixen rail, Arca-Swiss saddle or Synta dovetail shoe, you can now do so with new NUC MiniPC mounting solutions. The system consists of a bracket for your NUC and one of several different attachments.

Optec FocusLynx or Starlight Instruments Focuser Boss II controller owners can also attach these devices to a Losmandy or V-type rail, an Arca-Swiss saddle or Synta dovetail shoe with a new mounting solution which includes a bracket for your FocusLynx/Focuser Boss II and one of several different attachments.

The Buckeyestargazer Shop also now offers ASIAirPro mounting solutions which include brackets that will aid in mounting an ASIAir Pro to a variety of different rails or saddles, or even on a tripod leg.  There are two types of brackets available, each with several styles. This includes a Dovetail Saddle or Bar Mounts which attach to the ASIAir Pro using the ZWO supplied M4 bolts and Tripod Leg Brackets which “push-fit” securely onto a round tripod leg. The ASIAir-Pro bolts onto the bracket using the ZWO supplied M4 bolts.

To help with collimation, the Buckeyestargazer Shop now offers Duncan Masks for SCT Collimation which can be used to easily and quickly collimate your SCT. The mask comes in three sections that “snap-fit” together and can be taken apart for easier storage. The masks are currently available for Celestron 8″, 9.25″, 11″, 14″  “Classic 8″ and Meade 10” SCTs.
